Mission

Our mission is to raise awareness about the plight of Ismaili Muslims around the world who suffer silent inequities & challenges without a common voice in the public arena or recognized by the main-stream media.

Vision

As trustees of God’s creation, we are instructed to seek to leave the world a better place than it was when we came into it. If, IADC can help bring values into environment, education, buildings, and contexts that make the quality of life better for future generations than it is today, it will have served its purpose.

Concern for “the world in which all of our children will live” makes it essential for IADC to not just deepen our own understanding, but to deepen our contribution to the understanding of things in the most remote and isolated regions and villages of the developing countries, to truly globalize what we are all about, because there is very little else that is as important.

The IADC will pursue programs to better the world and its most needy, by construction, rehabilitation and insulation of homes, educational funding at all levels, skills training workshops, drilling wells, providing solar energy, all to benefit the health and mental well-being of its people.

There are those who enter the world in such poverty that they are deprived of both the means and the motivation to improve their lot. Unless they can be touched with a spark which ignites the spirit of individual enterprise and determination, they will only sink into apathy, degradation and despair. It is for us, who are more fortunate, to provide that spark.
